Trip to St Petersburg

During his two-day working trip to St Petersburg, Vladimir Putin visited a children's palliative care hospice, attended the Christmas service at the Transfiguration Cathedral, and toured the Peter and Paul Fortress, where he fired the traditional midday cannon shot, talked with Suvorov Military School students, and visited the Around the World ice sculpture festival. The President also held a working meeting with Acting Governor of St Petersburg Alexander Beglov during the visit.
