In Kaliningrad, Vladimir Putin met with students of regional universities
and held a meeting on the region’s socioeconomic development, during which he
took part, via videoconference, in launching the production of silicon wafers at the Encore Group factory in the city of Chernyakhovsk.
The President held a separate meeting with Governor of the Kaliningrad
Region Anton Alikhanov. In addition, he saw a video presentation of the construction of a cultural and educational complex.
At the end of his working trip, the President
visited the cancer centre in the village of Rodniki.
