The working group is headed by State Council member and Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin who told the audience about the group’s goals and tasks.
The meeting was attended by the heads of the federal executive bodies, regional governors and representatives of the State Duma and scientific expert organisations.
The participants discussed the concept of the working group’s report and ways of implementing national projects.
The working group has subgroups in the following areas: demography and healthcare, education, science, housing and urban environment, infrastructure, environmental protection, the economy, the digital economy, and culture. The subgroups are headed by regional governors and federal ministers.
A consolidated draft report will be submitted for discussion at the second meeting of the working group in November 2018.
