The Government of the Russian Federation was instructed to consider creating a programme for wetting peatlands in the Russian regions where there are risks of their ignition, as well as to submit proposals on increasing the financial support for the resources needed to prevent and extinguish wildfires in specially protected natural areas.
A number of instructions were given to the Russian Federation Government together with the Emergencies Ministry.
