“The establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries took Russian-Monegasque cooperation to the next level. Over the past decade, our two countries have accumulated a fairly significant track record of productive cooperation in various areas. Our political dialogue has become more intensive and substantive. Our states coordinate their efforts on important issues of the global agenda, and stand together for the establishment of a fair and democratic system of international relations based on the rule of law and the central role of the United Nations in international affairs.
Traditionally, cultural ties have been a special part of Russian-Monegasque relations. The Year of Russia held in Monaco in 2015 played an important role in expanding them. Undoubtedly, the Days of Monaco in Moscow in October will also be an interesting and memorable event.”
