After the competitions, the President congratulated the Russian and Ukrainian Paralympians on the successful performance in the open relay event and taking gold and silver medals, respectively.
Vladimir Putin also spoke with the Paralympics volunteers and fans.
While visiting the Laura Cross-Country Ski and Biathlon Centre, Mr Putin also met with head of the Ukrainian Paralympic Committee Valeriy Sushkevich.
Earlier in the day, the Russian athletes won gold medals in the mixed relay event.
