The exhibition presents the history, achievements and development plans of the Far Eastern region. It is designed in a marine style and is divided into sectors dedicated to career opportunities in the Primorye Territory, science, education, innovation, sport, culture, tourism and creating a comfortable environment.
The President toured, in particular, the interactive zone dedicated to the 155th Separate Guards Kursk Orders of Zhukov and Suvorov Marine Brigade named after twice Hero of Russia Major-General Mikhail Gudkov. The museum detailing the brigade’s actions in the special military operation describes its contribution to the special military operation and the heroism of its servicemen who have died defending the Motherland. Director of the Centre for Military Patriotic Education at Far Eastern Federal University Leon Volodin, who fought in the brigade’s ranks, accompanied the President.

Valdimir Putin also met with the cadets of the Voin Centre for Military Sports Training and Patriotic Education. The centre offers over 35 educational programmes and has branches in all federal districts, as well as in the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. Over 100,000 cadets aged between 14 and 35 and over 400 instructors have undergone training at the centre, and over 8,000 teachers have completed advanced training courses there.
In addition, Vladimir Putin visited the Unique Russian Language interactive exposition. Liliana Voronova, head of the Russian Language Department at the Eastern Institute of Far Eastern Federal University, accompanied the President and provided explanations.
Later, Vladimir Putin spoke via videoconference with the participants of the Faces of Cities mural art festival. The street art and monumental painting festival is held in Vladivostok from August 30 to September 6 and is timed to coincide with the 10th Eastern Economic Forum. It was attended by 20 artists who teamed up to form eight creative groups to create ten murals covering over 10,000 square metres in total.
