Taking part in the meeting were Head of the Republic of Tuva Vladislav Khovalyg, Governor of the Trans-Baikal Territory Alexander Osipov, Minister of Labour and Social Protection Anton Kotyakov, First Deputy Minister of Finance Leonid Gornin, Chair of the Federation Council Committee on Budget and Financial Markets Anatoly Artamonov, Chair of the State Duma Committee on the Financial Market Anatoly Aksakov, Chair of the State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes Andrei Makarov, Accounts Chamber Auditor Natalya Trunova, deputies of senior regional officials for economic and financial issues, as well as representatives of relevant federal executive authorities, the expert community and businesses.
In his opening remarks, Igor Levitin noted that maintaining the wages of public sector employees in accordance with the Presidential May executive orders is an absolute priority for federal and regional executive authorities.
Alexei Teksler, Anton Kotyakov and Leonid Gornin reported on the progress of work to implement the Presidential instructions to analyse the state of regional budgets and develop proposals for allocating additional volumes of interbudgetary transfers to the budgets of Russian regions, considering the changes in the wage dynamics in the economy, in order to unconditionally achieve the target wage levels for certain categories of workers in the public sector of the economy.
Taking part in the discussion were heads of Russian regions, Deputy Minister of Education Tatyana Vasilyeva, Deputy Minister of Healthcare Tatyana Semenova, Deputy Head of Rosstat Sergei Yegorenko, and chairs of Federation Council and State Duma commissions.
The proposals formulated by the commission following the meeting will be submitted to the President.
