Trip to Chelyabinsk Region and Republic of Bashkortostan

Vladimir Putin flew by helicopter over Chelyabinsk Region territories affected by wildfires, after which he held a meeting at Magnitogorsk airport on the situation with the floods and wildfires in the regions of the Russian Federation and the advancement of relief efforts.

In Abzelilovsky District of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the President took part in launching the Cemix plant for the production of dry construction mixes, operated by Lasselsberger Group, an Austrian holding company.

In addition, in the course of the working trip the head of state had meetings with Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Urals Federal District Vladimir Yakushev, Governor of Chelyabinsk Region Alexei Teksler and Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov.
