Trip to Rostov Region
Vladimir Putin chaired a meeting of the State Council Presidium in Rostov-on-Don on developing the industrial capacity of Russian regions.
During the trip, the President was shown around Platov International Airport and flew over a sports cluster built for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia. Vladimir Putin also visited the tractor and harvester manufacturing facilities of the Rostselmash Concern and talked to personnel there. In addition, the President launched the fourth power unit of the Rostov Nuclear Power Plant via videoconference.
