Meeting with representatives of public organisations for disabled persons

The meeting focused, in particular, on social and medical support for persons with disabilities, the creation of a barrier-free environment, as well as ways to improve the legislation on the rights of persons with disabilities.

The meeting was attended by general secretary of the Russian Paralympic Committee Mikhail Terentyev, sociologist Dr Sergei Kavokin and chairperson of Serpukhov municipal organisation of the National Society for the Disabled and director of a sports and fitness club for people with disabilities Tatyana Karzubova.
