The President visited the main production shops and the central laboratory, where he addressed the MMK workers and presented state awards to some of them. During his conversation with the workers, the President spoke against the anti-dumping measures introduced by some countries against Russian commodities, touched on the agreements reached within the Customs Union and also said that the Government would oppose any attempts to create unfair competition in this country.
Later Mr Putin met with the authorities of the Chelyabinsk Region and the city of Magnitogorsk, and answered journalists’ questions.
