The 6thBRICS Background information BRICS Summit is devoted to issues of political coordination and global governance problems. During the meeting, the leaders of BRICS nations adopted the Fortaleza Declaration and Action Plan.

A package of economic documents was also signed in the summit participants’ presence, including on establishing the BRICS New Development Bank and creating the Contingent Reserve Arrangement.
