The Governor reported that the region’s GRP has reached 2.1 trillion rubles, marking a 13 percent increase. Investments in fixed capital are also rising, totalling 465 billion rubles. Large projects are underway in the chemical industry, as well as in transport and logistics. The United Shipbuilding Corporation, in collaboration with VTB Bank, is actively involved in construction, including land selection for a new shipyard. The Zvezda shipbuilding complex is also expanding, with more than 25 ships currently under construction.

Oleg Kozhemyako mentioned the project to develop the Khasansky District as a resort and noted that few investors are willing to take the risk of building a year-round, world-class hotel in the Far East. He emphasised that such investors should be supported, particularly in the development of the electric power sector.

Infrastructure development is also a key issue for housing construction. According to the Governor, the region plans to build 1.3 million square metres of housing. While infrastructure loans totalling around 10 billion rubles have been allocated, they are scheduled for disbursement in 2028, 2029, and 2030. Additionally, a bridge needs to be constructed. The Governor requested moving the deadlines for receiving these funds, and the President suggested reviewing the relevant documents.
