Visit to Kazakhstan. Meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council
A meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council took place in Astana, following which Vladimir Putin, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed an Agreement on the Eurasian Economic Union. After the SEEC meeting, the Russian President had a meeting with President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. A number of Russian-Kazakh documents on cooperation in the energy sector were signed in the presence of the two presidents. Also, Vladimir Putin had a separate meeting with President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev.
