Working visit to Italy. ASEM Summit
Vladimir Putin took part in the 10th ASEM Summit, whose theme this year is Responsible Partnership for Growth and Security.
On the summit sidelines, the President of Russia had bilateral meetings with President of Italy Giorgio Napolitano, Prime Minister of Italy Matteo Renzi, Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel, Federal Chancellor of Austria Werner Faymann and President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
In addition, Mr Putin attended a Normandy format meeting, where the leaders of Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France discussed peaceful solutions to the conflict in Ukraine and the shipment of Russian gas to European consumers through Ukrainian territory.
