Trip to Ulyanovsk Region
Vladimir Putin took part in the 7th International Sports Forum Russia – Country of Sports. Later, the President met with winners of 2017–2018 world championships and those who had merit badges in the Ready for Labour and Defence fitness programme. Vladimir Putin also visited a training session for volunteers of the 29th Winter Universiade, which will be held in Krasnoyarsk next year. At the conclusion of the trip, he spoke with Russian mixed martial arts athlete, UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and congratulated him on his victory.
