The leaders exchanged greetings on the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two states and expressed their satisfaction with the friendly and constructive nature of Russian-Jordanian cooperation.
The discussion covered various aspects of the settlement process in Syria. In this context, they noted the effective cooperation between the two countries’ corresponding ministries and agencies. Special attention was paid to the work done to return Syrian refugees and displaced persons.
Vladimir Putin also congratulated King Abdullah II and the people of Jordan on Eid al-Adha.
