Among the main issues on the summit’s agenda are countering the threats from Afghanistan, helping Tajikistan to reinforce the Tajik-Afghan border, and exchanging views on current regional and international issues, including the situation in and around Syria.
Following the summit, a number of joint documents were signed.
The President of Russia also made a press statement.
