Earlier, the Russian President sent a message of congratulations to the President of Tajikistan.
The message reads, in part:
“Your name is inextricably linked with the entire modern history of Tajikistan. During your presidency, you have managed to secure peace and accord in your country, which deservedly earned you the sincere respect of your compatriots and high authority abroad. Under your leadership, the Republic has been steadily moving forward along the path of socioeconomic development as well as taking an active part in addressing important matters on the regional agenda.
You have made a significant personal contribution to cementing strategic partnership and allied relations between our states. I would like to reaffirm readiness to continue our constructive dialogue and our fruitful joint efforts aimed at stepping up bilateral ties in all areas for the benefit of the friendly peoples of Russia and Tajikistan.”
