Condolences to families of plane crash victims in Rostov-on-Don

Vladimir Putin expressed his deep condolences to those who lost their loved ones in a plane crash at the Rostov-on-Don airport.

Vladimir Putin noted that the most important thing at present is to assist the victims’ families.

Heading for the crash location were Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov Sokolov Maxim Sokolov Maxim , Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov, Head of the Federal Agency for Air Transport Alexander Neradko and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Southern Federal District Vladimir Ustinov Ustinov Vladimir Ustinov VladimirPresidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Southern Federal District .

The FlyDubai airlines Boeing 737–800 on its way from Dubai crashed at 3:42 am on Saturday at the Rostov-on-Don airport as it was making a repeated landing attempt in difficult weather conditions. It had 62 persons on board.
