This was a central event of Days of Polish Science in Russia. The Presidents sent messages of greetings to the participants and delivered speeches.
Mr Putin said the forum would open up new vistas for the further unification of efforts in the priority areas of modern science.
Dozens of symposiums, conferences and exhibitions were held in Moscow, St Petersburg and Novosibirsk within the framework of Days of Polish Science in Russia (October 13–18).
