Visit to Kazakhstan. Fifth Caspian Summit
Vladimir Putin attended the Fifth Caspian Summit in Aktau. The presidents of Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkmenistan discussed key issues of cooperation in the region and the implementation of decisions adopted earlier.
Participants in the summit signed the Convention On the Legal Status of the Caspian Sea and a series of intergovernmental documents.
On the sidelines of the summit, the Russian President met with President of Iran Hassan Rouhani and President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.
