This is the Special Envoy’s second visit to Moscow in four months.
During the upcoming meeting, the Russian side plans to once again confirm its support for Kofi Annan’s peaceful plan for a political and diplomatic settlement of the crisis in Syria. The Russian side believes that this plan is the only viable platform for resolving Syria’s internal problems.
